Spread out over twelve beautiful floors, the Iroquois New York prides itself on being a European-style hotel. Travelers will easily be able to wrap themselves around the charming atmosphere that the Iroquois has to offer. Just a step into the limestone and granite lobby will remind guests of times gone past. The French limestone facade that was originally done in 1923 has been restored magnificently. The complimentary mineral water and chocolates upon arrival give guests a glimpse of the pampering that is in store for them. The Iroquois is located near all of the Suite at the Iroquois Hotelattractions that make New York City stand in a league of it's own compared to the rest of the cities in the worlds. In addition to the recently cleaned-up Times Square, the Iroquois is only blocks away from the Broadway Theatre, the exclusive shops of Fifth Avenue and Grand Central Station.

European-style Living

The Iroquois New York houses 114 guestrooms, nine of which are suites. All rooms are done in relaxing green and cream tones which enhance the opulence of the French furnishings. The bathrooms are just as exquisite with floor-to-ceiling marble gracing the walls. The walls in the suites are adorned with artwork that was commissioned especially for the Iroquois. Guests who stay in the suites will enjoy additional luxuries. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower stall. After unwinding in the Jacuzzi, guests can bundle themselves up in his and hers plush Frette bathrobes. The hotel even pays tribute to the 1950's bad boy, James Dean, who lived here by naming a suiteLivingroom at the Iroquois Hotel after him. All beds, whether they be king, queen, double or twin are dressed in 300-thread count imported cotton sheets and down comforters. Guests will wallow in the luxury of the completely goose down pillows.

The surroundings are exquisite at the Iroquois as are the amenities. Each guestroom features a high- definition color Cable television, CD player, Nintendo, video games, VCR, on command movies and pay-per-view movies. All rooms are equipped with dual line telephones with one direct private line that is capable of transferring calls to a cellular phone and retrieving voicemail, data port connections for computer and fax hookup and high speed Internet access. Molton Brown luxury bath products await each guest. Valuables may be stored in the in-room safe.

Additional amenities include mini-bar, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, alarm clock radio and a working desk. Each guestroom/suite is individually climate controlled. Handicap accessible rooms are available. Additional services include concierge, laundry, valet, turn-down, maid and baby-sitting. Children ages 12 and under staySauna in the Fitness at the Iroquois Hotel at the Iroquois for free. The New York Times is complimentary provided for all guests daily. In order to provide the best service possible for their guests, the staff is multi-lingual.

Relax and Unwind at the Iroquois

For travelers who don't want to stray from their exercise routine, the Iroquois has it's own fitness center on the property. After a hard workout, guests can reward themselves by unwinding in the Finnish sauna. The Iroquois also has two lounges where travelers can enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or nightcap. The James Dean Lounge is cozy with love seats and easy chairs situated before a fireplace. The Library is a great place to catch up on some reading while sipping on an aged cognac. Triomphe Restaurant is the hotel's newest addition, serving up exquisite French cuisine nightly.
